The quality control unit of Ferdos Karan Omid (Ilia Steel) company is an independent organizational unit under the CEO’s direct supervision. It is responsible for the control and inspection of manufactured products at various stages of production processes.
This unit is supported by experienced scientific personnel, enjoys advanced calibrated Equipment and tools, and is responsible for performing product performance and durability tests. Utilizing national standards and Formulating factory standards for sufficient inspection at every stage of product formation, as well as inspection and control of suppliers’ processes based on approved quality plans, are some of the key duties of the quality control unit. Participation of the quality control unit in the planning and development of product stages and technical committees shows the importance of the quality control unit on the organization and the company’s commitment to providing perfect products to its customers.
Some achievements of establishing a quality control system within the Ferdos Karan organization include reducing the product return index based on the PPM index, increasing sales, and increasing customer satisfaction.
Acrodite Laboratory
The Acrodite laboratory unit of Ferdos Karan Omid company started its activities in 2017 In the fields of weights and measures, mechanics and metallurgy, domestic gas-fired industries (domestic gas-fired cooking appliances), and determining energy consumption standards, electricity and electronics, and mechanics. This company, supported by its experienced scientific staff, has been honored to receive an ISO/IEC 17025 certificate from the National Accreditation Center of Iran. This unit is ready to provide testing services, education, and consultation in manufacturing laboratory equipment to manufacturing units and other respected applicants.
